I lived through not being able to have a credit card in my name. Women couldn’t have credit without a man. My ex expected me to work full time, take care of the house and the kids. He spent time in the evenings at bars or out of town. Verbal abuse was constant. It took twenty years to break free. Never again. I’m proud of the young women who are choosing themselves.

We need to be sponsoring younger women. Be available for advice and insight, as well as truth. Young women don’t even know what they don’t know yet. Why are we not educating and informing our new queens? Why should they learn the hard way just cuz we did? The sooner they know, the sooner the veil lifts and we can ALL see clearly.
