Seems so early. I’m sure with a homestead, you have a long list to prep for your cold Canadian winters. We are in Texas where it’s been and will be 100+ every day for the rest of the month and possibly longer. Except for the occasional ice storm with power outages, we use our wood burning fireplace for decoration purposes, not heat.

How standard is it to be 16 inch lengths? Stoves are getting bigger, I cut mine at 18 but then it seems harder to sell any extra.

so 2.5 cords of wood 3 faces cords is a cords so that's 2.5 cords or 1/3 cords of wood
