Or my experience this year. An 18 top 5 min til close took 35 min after close for all of them to get there, tipped 16% and it took me another hour and a half to re-close

Closing at 10 means the staff is trying to leave close to 10 as possible..it does not mean the last order could be placed at 10.. please have manners people

Nah, the hours on the door are the hours that the last seat is set. Not anyones fault you cleaned your station and did closing duties early.

And nothing is even worse when they order an item that takes 35 to 40 minutes to cook five minutes before closing as well

GREAT call. SHUT THE DOORS AT 9:30. I was in the industry for 15 years, through high school then college. NOTHING WORSE than ppl coming in at 9:45, 9:55 and saying "But you close at 10 pm" EVERY EMPLOYEE AT THAT RESTAURANT HATES YOU FOR COMING IN AT THE LAST MINUTE!!!! GREAT CALL!!!👍👍👍

Im a manager and I don’t allow people to sit that late unless we are still busy. It’s case by case.

Been in the restaurant business My entire life and this is wrong. If your sign says you’re open till 10. You don’t stop taking orders till 10.

If it's simple I have no problem doing it, but a customer won't come in two minutes before closing and order food that needs more than ten minutes to prepare and will re-clean the stove, oven and preparation place this called rudeness and lack of manners.

When customers do this is very inconsiderate people. They don't think of those that have cooked 10 or 12 hour shifts. They have families they need to go home too. It's so annoying

I’m tired of these videos. If you are open until 10 then you take orders until 10. Advertisement is critical. Advertise that kitchen closes at 9 and the dining room closes at 10. Stop blaming customers and blame the owners
