Something i love to share with my patients/families is that as the body shuts down, patients do not feel hungry the same way it used to. Sometimes, this gives loved ones some comfort with the process.

Thank you for this video. They forced one on my mom. She ended up, pulling it out had some trouble swallowing but not completely. But one place didn’t like the result from the other hospital they wanted they put the two back in without consent. It was an angry situation. My mom was a stroke survivor had a brain injury. It just took more time to feed her. I personally believed it was chosen as a choice out of laziness or by the intentional short staffing of the hospital.
