The MC literally watch Yuri’s body decompose for 3 days until the next act started. They didn’t call for help or anything bro. Of course people hate him😭. Not to mention they were incredibly oblivious to Sayori’s very obvious signs of severe depression.

People forget how caring he was to Sayori too. He wasn't the best at it but he went to check on Sayori and tried his best to comfort her. Sometimes he'd be snarky to other people but he usually showed some sort of interest and pushed himself out of certain comfort zones to make whatever girl (you) chose happy.

THIS OMG🙏 "He was so clueless during act2" THATS THE WHOLE POINT. "He never cared about sayori, he was so mean to her" They literally just act like childhood friends/siblings. He tried his best to help Sayori when he learned about her issues, while, REMINDER, hes ~16yo guy, not a grown ass therapist. Yes he was clumsy sometime, but we're talking about a teenager guy that just learned his childhood friend has depression. How do you want him to react and act?? Not to mention, when sayori died, he was literally devastated, to the point that he lowk found everything meaningless.
