@rbgcanada: The official International Waterlily Weigh-Off kicks off this week, with botanical gardens around the world going head-to-head to crown the 2026 champ with the strongest giant Victoria waterlily.   We’re cheering on this year’s competitors, but we’d like to give the spotlight to some of the weird little guys who live among RBG’s waterlilies. They may not be champion-grown waterlily specimens, but they’ve got plenty going for them, offering up some prime habitat for our local wetland residents.   No trophy required.
