I mean…I get the separate room thing. A lot of parents have a nursery room for their baby, but I think the living room is a bit too much 😭. Just thinking, if someone were to break in, they’re going thru the living room obviously. The baby could be harmed, or taken…the living room just isn’t the best space for a newborn. Especially if the newborn is by themselves the whole night.

I slept in the living room with my newborn too. Being a new mom is scary, and having to learn how to feel comfortable sleeping in the same bed as your baby can be such an anxious experience. You’re constantly worried about them, even while you’re trying to rest.
