This was a COMPLETE ripoff!! Over $70 per person to get 6 โmouthwash-sizedโ cups of rice and you had to stand in line for over 2-3 hours just to get the spoonful of rice cups! The food from the 3 or 4 food vendors looked so much better than the few grains of rice that they had in those small cups, but after paying over $70 for those ridiculously small cups of rice, I didnโt even want to pay for anything else! The event was disorganized. there wasnโt any guidance on where to go and what to do. The venue was too small to hold all of the people that came to be ripped off! The vendorsโ-where were the vendors??? We expected to see many vendors selling lots of food and merchandise, but instead, we were hungry and parched. We waited in long lines and didnโt even get the signature jolof rice box! Instead we just received a black box with NO lid to cover the rice because we were told that they didnโt have enough for others. For the amount of money paid, it should have been a meal with a beverage!! other cities BEWARE!!! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!
