some of these comments need mental help 😭 if im driving hone from work or something and i call someone, ofc im hanging up when i go inside. i have things to do!! people shower, or cook, or eat, or interact with their family, its not temporary entertainment its just...a conversation that ends at some point.

I will never understand people who hate being the person called to "pass the time". My mother calls on the way to and from work and talks the entire way there/home. It makes me feel special that she wanted to talk to me and couldn't wait another 15 minutes to do so. Even when she was going to work or elsewhere, my thought process was always "oh, she had to leave but didn't want to. She misses spending that time with me as much as I miss her". I feel grateful for the extra time and coversations with her 🙃

These are my favorite phone calls. It’s perfect for catching up because if the conversation goes quiet for some reason, I just comment on something around me and we’re talking again. Car yaps 4 ever.
