@jadesutherlandphoto: Every single day of my job as a wedding photographer looks just a little different and there’s nothing more beautiful than that. Every couple comes with a different story, every reception with a different color palette, everyone’s skin with a different shade, and every image taken with a different emotion behind it. There are quite literally too many wedding trends to try to keep up with and the facts are that you don’t need to do it all. The stress, the perfectly curated mood boards, the constant comparison to other wedding days is not worth looosing the spark of your process and special day! Better yet I can say that after 300 weddings the things we all leave talking about are the intimate vows written only with details of you and the experiences or decor that we have never seen before. So this is not a PSA to not be inspired or have mood boards, but to think how can I take all of the things in my head and make them me, make them better for me. Copying other people truly only sets us all up for failure as wedding planners, florists, venues, absolutely as the photographer attempting to replicate those perfectly time moments and most importantly you as the couple to look like someone you are not. So take my heartfelt advice today as the soon to be brides, grooms, maids of honor, sisters, and moms that while the process isn’t meant to be per say easy it’s absolutely not supposed to feel unsustainable or disappointing 🤍 #wedding #weddingplanning #bride #engaged
