Why would a rando think he can sabotage the heir apparent to a family business & still keep his job, let alone take her spot? Guy had a screw loose & was very delusional. Even if he made her look bad, her father almost certainly would have went to bat for her & launched an investigation into how it happened. You can maybe mess with a good Ole boys network in a business & drive a wedge in between them quite well to take someone's spot but if you think you're gonna take down a family dynasty situation & that you'll be given what was destined for the heir, you have know that your chances are slim to none.
