THE FINANCIAL SECRETS YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND What if the biggest difference between struggling financially and building wealth is not simply how hard you work, but what you know about money? Hard work matters. But hard work without financial knowledge can leave you working harder without necessarily changing your financial position. To build a stronger financial future, you need to understand how money works, how assets generate income, how debt affects you, how businesses operate, and how to make informed financial decisions. FINANCIAL EDUCATION MATTERS. Money itself is not evil. The Bible warns us about the love of money, not the responsible use of money. “For the love of money is the root of all evil...” — 1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV) Money can be a tool for providing for your family, building businesses, creating opportunities, and helping others. “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth...” — Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV) But financial wisdom also requires understanding risk. Investing can create opportunities, but not every investment is safe, and high returns usually come with greater risk. Debt can sometimes be used productively, but debt can also become destructive when it is poorly understood or used irresponsibly. “The borrower is servant to the lender.” — Proverbs 22:7 (KJV) So don’t simply chase wealth because someone promises you a shortcut. LEARN. ASK QUESTIONS. UNDERSTAND THE NUMBERS. MANAGE RISK. BUILD SKILLS. USE YOUR RESOURCES WISELY. The goal isn’t merely to work for money. The goal is to develop the wisdom to manage what God has entrusted to you. “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” — Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) THE MORE YOU UNDERSTAND MONEY, THE BETTER EQUIPPED YOU ARE TO MAKE WISE FINANCIAL DECISIONS.
