I actually think he didn’t plan on killing the kids. He just wanted to kill her and frame it as suicide. she escaped out the window and he went outside to strangle her that’s why her thyroid was crushed. But the kids saw from the basement window and freaked out.

You know what else?! Someone asked how the sheets and mattress weren’t covered with blood. So he probably changed them too. Like I don’t get how people can see all these glaring inconsistencies and declare him innocent and say she did it all.
