This is literally what legal kidnapping looks like except it’s not legal. It’s illegal as hell. This cop should lose his job.

In the past, an officer could lie under oath to secure a conviction, and too often the system would protect the officer rather than the citizen. Today, we have cameras—and the public can see what actually happens. The First Amendment protects the public’s right to record government officials performing their duties in public.
