As a gay man, I think their relationship can be interpreted however people want, but people should know the author never said frog and toad were gay. Yes I know the author’s gay but that doesn’t mean everything he writes is gay. I interpret their relationship as more than friends could ever be but still being entirely platonic if that makes sense.
