Run №644 16.08.26. Hares: Pay Me Now and Captain Cock Dear friends, This week adventure was in the hills of mango growing section of Suối Dầu (east side of highway №1). The trees were still bearing flowers and fruits, and the locals were busy in picking and packing fruits. It surely was funny for them to see the abnormal sight of our merry band of beer drinking #nhatranghash walking the paths inside the plantations, and when we stopped at a few mango gathering points, some were gifted to us (thank you)! The view from the higher grounds gave us many opportunities to admire the view of the valley below us bathed in the dying afternoon Sun... spectacular! The last section of our walk before rejoining the bus, was in the village below the hills, where old houses are being replaced with new constructions, and where locals welcome you with smiles and small talks. We end up as usual with our infamous "circle" where we review our day's adventure, eat our small lunch (eggs sandwich this week), and drink a little more beers!
