@icwebs: Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a major comic book storyline and soft relaunch focusing on the titular superhero, developed and published by Marvel Comics. The narrative arc officially began worldwide in January 2008, following the controversial events of One More Day, spans across core issues #546 –564, and updates the core protagonist's status quo. The narrative progression is built on a complete reset of Peter Parker's traditional life, where his marriage to Mary Jane Watson has been erased from history due to a supernatural pact with Mephisto. In this alternate daily reality, Peter returns to his roots as a struggling bachelor looking for an apartment, hunting for a photography job at the Daily Bugle, and operating in a city where law enforcement brands Spider-Man an unregistered fugitive. The overarching story structure relies on rotating story arcs managed by a dedicated creative team known as the Spidey Brain Trust, featuring prominent writers like Dan Slott, Marc Guggenheim, Bob Gale, and Mark Waid. The series implements deep character development mechanics, a renewed focus on street-level photography assignments, and a fresh collection of unique supervillains, including Mister Negative, Menace, Overdrive, and Freak. #spiderman #spidermanbrandnewday #sadiesink #jeangrey
