I'm a single mom of two kids by circumstances,I never wanted to be one ,I tried to stay in the marriage despite the man being irresponsible but I know it would affect my kids and so he left and I had to raise my kids....I pray everyday for my kids to end up with a loving and kind spouse and with God helping me ,I'll raise the best man and the best woman ever!!!

Parents staying married does not even guarantee a responsible child. I don’t know how they forget that there are parents who are toxic, nonchalant and selfish. At the end of the day, children sees these things and make their own choices.

Why don’t we label them rightly? Someone who was married and her husband died isn’t a single mother but a widow. In the case where the children come from a broken home, the mum or dad is a divorcee. Single mother is someone whose mum was never married to their dad and it’s entirely a decision of the parents!

I know someone who behaves like a lunatic. And sometimes I feel like blaming his mother for not raising him well. But I have met that woman a few times and she is an angel. She is peaceful and kind. So even when I try, I can’t even blame her. It’s not her fault. He choosed to behave like a lunatic by himself.

I was raised by a single mother from a broken home, but one thing has always driven me forward, I never want her sacrifices to be in vain, and I never want anyone to say she couldn’t do it. My siblings and I have always stood together, and today I can proudly say my mother did not raise wayward children. ❤️My sister is a nurse, I am a graduate and happily married, and my younger brother is also doing well. We may not have everything yet, but we are growing, and I truly believe this is just the beginning. What once was our story is now something others point to as an example for their own children, and that means more than words can express. There’s a quiet strength that comes from being raised by a single mother you learn resilience, gratitude, and the desire to make her proud. Mummy, you may have raised us alone, but you raised us well. ❤️This is only the beginning. We will make you even prouder. 🙏🏽❤️

Madam Tade.... your well of wisdom shall never run dry. I was raised by my mother , I only know my father at age 16 and met just twice before he died. My mother raised us and non went wayward.

Raising children is divine; it is not by human power or by the status of the parents. Whether the parents are pastors, married, divorced, or single, it is ultimately by God’s grace. You can see children of pastors who are irresponsible, and you can also see children raised by single parents who turn out exceptionally well. At the end of the day, it is God’s grace.
