I used to be a Senate page (basically a high school student who volunteers for a week of legislative session to assist the senators while they’re on the floor, so bringing them beverages, making deliveries for them, passing notes, etc.) and they would bring us here every year as a field trip. It’s a pretty neat museum. I have no idea what possessed you to visit Tallahassee (especially in this heat!) but highly recommend checking out FSU’s campus and the new capital building too if you can.

The chamber room’s floor is linoleum so whenever someone wears high heels it actually dents the floor and they keep having to replace it 💀

旧議事堂が完成したのが、１８４５年だから南北戦争より前の事ですね。そのせいか、南部の大農場主の館に造りが似ていますね❣️

I recommend Tallahassee Museum. They have native animals and it shows what it was like when Tallahassee was first settled with very old buildings and houses.
