they're illegal in the UK. we got in a car accident today by an ebike rider thinking he could out speed cars at a roundabout. Through his actions, our car and a van are now written off and he's getting charged with illegally driving it and not having a license to drive a motorised vehicle 🙃 he's so lucky that nobody got hurt apart from some bruises

Looking over the specifications for this model, it is illegal to ride this bike on British pavements and roads. You can ride it around personal land but you cannot take it on roads. Police will confiscate it from you so if you're buying this under the perception that you're going to be able to ride this everywhere, you'll lose money. These individuals will make money off your commission and you still won't get to keep the bike shop safe.

bought 1 last Christmas for my fella for work within 6 months stopped working realised the wiring had totally come apart from the throttle inside casing n just basically sitting here as cnt get the throttle off to weld it back 😳😳😳
