Since so many of you want to argue, let's have a discussion. How many of you have read the Bible cover to cover? If you can't understand Hebrew or Greek, how do you know the English Bible is accurate? Are you interpreting the Bible yourself or are you following another's interpretation and running with it? Have you taken into account how many times the Bible has been translated? How can you be so certain that the kings of the past haven't rewritten or added to the Bible to fit their agenda? If Trump rewrote the Bible and added to it today because "god told me so," would you believe him? Why are you picking apart certain verses and not looking at the Bible as a whole? Why are we arguing against homosexuality, but dismissing pride, deceit, and hatred? Why are you using the Bible to belittle and condemn people instead of using the Bible to spread kindness and invite others to explore Christianity? You do NOT have the right to condemn someone in the name of the Lord. He himself is the only one who can pass on the ultimate judgement. Luke 6:37, James 4:12, Romans 2:1, Matthew 7:3-5. I think it's time some if you open your Bibles and close your mouths.

as a Christian myself, I dont think loving the same gender should be considered a sin. no, its not entirely what ppl consider the 'norm', but we're not wild animals. we dont get into a relationship just to reproduce like other animals do. we love differently and we do it because we feel connected to that person in a way we dont feel with others. I know there's going to be homophobic 'christians' in my replies telling me im wrong and that I need to repent, but no, I wont. love shouldn't be a sin. im not even apart of the LGBTQ+ community but whats so bad about loving someone? is it just because they cant reproduce with each other? or is there something else we're not being told
