I did almost the exact same thing, I rapid pointed at the button for my mom, she kept going to the one she pressed before with me to start the puzzle, I crouched and she got the message to find and press the button I was pointing at

Same room, but three people, the button was on the rafters. I agressively point towards the ceiling like a madman. “RAFTERS RAFTERS RAFTERS BUTTON ON THE CEILING RAFTERS” I type out rapidly. The don’t see it. Can’t hear me. It’s painful. My hand bleeds from the power behind my fists slamming into the glass. I cry. They still don’t see the button. All hope is nearly lost, they look up enough, they see the button, progress is made. Puzzle complete.
