Do both components run on batteries (standard alkaline or rechargeable)? if you can run the doorbell from the existing wiring you need to upgrade your doorbell transformer?

Mine like it does work but I do have to hit buttons on the part with the screen to see who rang the doorbell but it does not capture anybody unless they ring the bell

So it doesn’t connect to my phone? 😩 I’m supposed to sit there watching that little screen all day like I’m working security? 😂 Why would I buy a doorbell I have to babysit? By the time I look away for two minutes, somebody done stole the doorbell! 😭😂 Most of us buy video doorbells because we’re WORKING and want the convenience of checking our doors from our phones. That’s literally the point! 😂
