First: don’t shave if you can avoid it. Second: if you do shave, don’t do it right after exfoliating your skin. Third: after shaving, stick to hydrating and soothing products only. Avoid actives or potentially irritating treatments. Bonus tip: if shaving is part of your routine, invest in a good exfoliating serum to use on separate days to help prevent ingrown hairs and texture.
