You can get really bright colour netting etc. would be very obvious who took it

For all the people saying put locks on sheds and greenhouses, don't! They just rip them off causing more damage for you to repair and makingpeople think you have valuables in there. We have this alot where we live, I don't lock anything and I never leave anything of any value there. Over lockdown I had a homeless drug user living in my shed and he would sh@t behind the shed, left him help numbers but in the end had to go down with police to evict him. I still love my plot though.

Try to fence your plot off, it might be worth getting a trail camera hidden as well. It’s a definite mention to the committee/council of the theft as if you get the culprit on camera, you can report it to the committee and hopefully, get them evicted

It’s normal to feel like that. It’s the allotment initiation period. You’ll feel better later just keep persevering. Swap your produce with every plot holder, your happy space is still there. 😂

Someone stamped on a lot of our veg in April and May and then with the heat nothing took off. I can’t prove who did it so I can’t make a complaint but I’m so upset. Can you not put fencing in?

We’ve had exactly the same, kids getting on and smashing greenhouses, sheds, stealing tools… I’ve been so close to giving it up and the council have done absolutely nothing about securing the site properly, it’s so frustrating.

Put cable ties in several places through your netting or dabs of paint, that way you'll know who's taken them. As they'll need to cut them off & can't hide the paint marks 🤔

I would put up some signs saying CCTV in operation even if you don't have any. It might deter whoever is doing these things.
