𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻 🎾 If you want to stop losing to teams that aren't actually better than you, learn to own the net. The pair that controls the net controls the point — they hit down while you're stuck hitting up. These five rules end points early instead of grinding out long rallies you eventually lose. Take the net as a pair, always together — never one up and one back, because that split leaves a gap good teams punish immediately. Once you're there, volley down and to their feet or into the open space; a floaty high volley just gets smashed straight back at you. And when they hit hard, hold your ground and block it — stepping back turns an easy volley into a defensive one behind your own line. Off a lob, play a controlled bandeja to hold your net position instead of going for the flashy flat smash that sails long or sits up. And close the middle: the player nearest the centre takes it, because most passing shots go straight down the gap between you two, not down the line. Win the net and you stop chasing the game and start dictating it. What keeps you from taking the net — nerves, or your partner leaving you stranded? 👇
