Please explain why the old V10 F1 piston engine can out rev the rotary? In this video it says that the rotary can rev over 10000 rpm, however the piston driven F1 V10 idles at 6000 rpm and could handle revs beyond 20 000 rpm. Again I ask, why is the rotary considered better as a piston engine? 😎😎😎😎😎😎

in the 80s or 90s they had one reving at 16000 rpm took the governor off it and got 24000 rpm out of it before it blew up
