How does *Final Destination 5* connect to *Final Destination 1*?

i think it was the best plot twist in the whole horror/thriller industry. (idk if the franchise is a horror or thriller)

The guy from Final Destination 5 was the first person to have a vision after Iris, right? That means he saw the disaster before Alex in Final Destination 1. So, I really don’t understand why they didn’t leave the plane when Alex started freaking out. Alex was literally shouting that they were all going to die, so shouldn’t they have already realized what was going to happen? If the guy from Final Destination 5 had already experienced a vision of the same event before Alex, wouldn’t he have recognized the signs or at least understood that Alex’s vision was real? What confuses me is that, chronologically, the guy from Final Destination 5 had the vision first, then Alex had his vision later. So technically, the people on Flight 180 should have had some reason to believe Alex when he started warning everyone. I just don’t get why nobody thought to take his warning seriously and leave the plane.

Was it stock footage or do the first actors look very young?
