This the layman's explanation about Super 7. The story of Super 7 was started in Brazil where alot of Amethyst are mined. Miners found a stash of impure Amethyst, with up to 7 minerals, which was unsellable. Buyers were only interested in commercially viable crystals like Smoky Quartz or Amethyst. A crystal author, Melody, was called in to assess the find. They tried to make it sellable by trying to trademark the name under Melody stone (after the author/scientist) and Super 7. Melody stone trademark was rejected but the trademark of Super 7 stood. Majority of Super 7 sold in the market are not even Super 7 (up to 7 minerals) but rutilated quartz of various colours. Even if one manage to get a full Super 7 bracelet...its value is very low...due to the fact its sourced from 'reject material'.
