According to the TVA the avengers were supposed to go back in time the issue is what happened during their conquest. Loki escaped,Tony had a conversation with his father ( howard prolly became suspicious of him) . And then Thanos from 2012 and Gomora going to the present. Cap staying and having a child when he was supposed to return to the present after returning the stones . Dooms anger is understandable because he lost everything as a result of this but then the avengers were trying to bring back half of the population they just did it carelessly.
