I used to like the dude I’m an Iraq combat Veteran, but when I heard him say why would I want to get deployed to see my friends face blowing off and also that he didn’t want to deployed because he didn’t want to leave his dogs he wants all the glory and all the same of the job, but doesn’t want to put in the work

He’s a member of the guard, which is controlled by the govenor unless the president activates them. Now the reason I say this is because the guard doesn’t really care what their soldiers do. They have state run regulations, and yes he’s correct, DHS is not a part of TDOW.
