For most collectors, that is already an incredible card to own. But when there is potentially room for improvement, the difference between a PSA 9 and PSA 10 can be significant. So the goal was simple: Could we carefully restore the card, improve its overall presentation and give it another opportunity at the elusive PSA 10? After restoration, the Umbreon was resubmitted for grading… And it GEMMED. 💎 PSA 10. But the best part of this story is what happens next. The owner is planning to sell the card and put the money towards buying a car for his son. 🚗 That is what makes some of these restorations so much bigger than the grade itself. A Pokémon card sitting in a collection can hold memories, nostalgia and potentially significant value. Sometimes unlocking that potential can help a collector fund something meaningful in the real world.
