The claim that being Arab makes someone a better Muslim is completely rejected in Islam. In the Quran, Allah clearly states: "The most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you" (Surah Al-Hujurat 49:13), proving that piety (Taqwa), not ethnicity, is the only metric of spiritual status. Furthermore, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) explicitly dismantled this bias in his Farewell Sermon, declaring: "An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab... except by piety and good action" (Musnad Ahmad).Islam is a universal faith, not an ethnic club. In fact, some of the Prophet's closest companions were non-Arabs, like Bilal the Abyssinian and Salman the Persian, while his fiercest enemies like Abu Lahab were pure Arabs. Your ethnicity does not dictate your closeness to Allah; your faith and character do.
