this is literally the story of my life, and I left at 19-20 years old. and literally moved to a whole nother city and I'm 38 now and haven't been back home because I had Avery toxic family. Fun fact I have a chronic illness now and trying to heal myself!!! mentally as well as internally.

I moved to abother part of England and stopped talking to my family after being treated so badly by all of them. Now I have peace and thats something that is so valuable and precious and I love it. I know I dont need them because I am a strong woman and I am surviving

Yup my mother oldest daughter gossip about me to our gossiping uncle. They lived their life as if our mother didn’t exist. Rarely and barely saw her, but was the loudest at her funeral. That was guilt .

I tried twice and ended up back in the drama pulled in by guilt. 4 1/2 years ago, a major trauma happened with my child and my family’s reaction was disgusting. I haven’t spoken to my mother or any of my six sisters in 4 1/2 years. You’re so right being a cycle breaker is so hard. But I swear I will never treat my children the way I was treated. Toxic is toxic whether it’s family friends. It doesn’t matter if someone is toxic they don’t deserve to be in your life you deserve better.
