EP11 10 things - just got back !! 1.Seasick tablets They have them on the boat! There is also lots of pharmacies in El Nido/Coron if you want your own - they recommended one called Mercury. 2.Swim or kayak! When you pull up to the islands, you have the option to swim and to get your luggage carried over, OR you can stay dry and hop on the kayak yourself! The luggage they carry over is your ONE bag you keep above deck - your backpack/suitcase is kept locked away at the bottom of the boat for the entire expedition. 3.They DON’T provide towels On the boat or in the accommodations (but I survived without one ☝️) 4.They DON’T provide a waterproof phone pouch for fun underwater videos 5.They DON’T provide fins They really recommend this. 6.They DO provide snorkels They have lots and you can just grab them and jump! 7.There is no service…like at all You’re really living thr off grid lifestyle for 3 days. But that’s why it is so beautiful. That’s why you do it. It’s so much more than seeing remote islands and snorkelling, you’re sitting and eating and singing together, like a family - you really get the space to connect with others and nature. THIS is the real reason everyone raves about the expedition. 8.There is also no hot showers OR air con but I hate air con so😛 9.Scared to go solo? The crew are like family - you feel accepted and the boys take you in like they’re your group, this is why Haraya is so special too! Don’t be worried to go alone, you have your tour guide, your captain, your chef, you can decide how you want to spend your time on the boat or at night by the bonfire or blasting karaoke!
