i love James Blunt. i was also sent to a boarding school and i know what he means when he says he is emotionalky stunted. its sad but it's true. many children are put away into boarding schools

I love James Blunt and never knew this. That is just awful. How could any parent leave a 7 year old like that?? Terrible parents in my opinion. Thankfully he found music but just not right

I remember a man in our village who’s parents did this and the only person who visited him as a child in the boarding school was one of the tenant farmers who felt sorry for him

I was sent at 10, my parents lived in Germany at the time, amd they sent me to the UK. I didnt see them for 16 weeks after dropping me off. it was horrendous. I'd never ever do it to my kids.
