@maaamiiiiiiiiiiii: As a woman, I don't interpret this as "women don't need men anymore." For me, it means something deeper. Many women today have learned to stand on their own. We work, earn, make decisions, take care of ourselves, and build our own lives. Not because we hate men, but because life taught us that we should be capable of standing even when nobody is there to catch us. So when a woman enters a relationship, she isn't necessarily looking for someone to pay her bills or save her from life. She is looking for partnership. Hindi na namin kailangan ng bare minimum na parang malaking favor na kailangang ipagpasalamat. We want someone emotionally mature. Someone who communicates. Someone who respects our ambitions. Someone who knows how to carry his own responsibilities. Someone who can bring peace instead of constantly becoming another problem to solve. And this isn't about women being better than men. It's about both people bringing something valuable to the relationship. An empowered woman doesn't say, "I don't need a man." She says, "I can stand on my own, but I would love to have a man beside me who makes life better not harder." There's a difference between needing someone to survive and choosing someone to build a life with.
