all this talk of aliens pretending to be someone makes me think this is all DEEP foreshadowing for Hal being controlled by Paralax and this all being a plot echoing this scene here. like they talk abt it SO MUCH. plus, the court room scene, he doesn’t say green lantern corp, and he’s triggered by hearing the oath. like i feel ts in my bones.
