It happened multiple times for me. I had adenomyosis with estrogen dominance. I suffered for almost 10 years before a dr took me serious.

This happened right before I stopped for good. Nobody warned me this might happen so of course I freaked out and then the doctors all acted like they had no idea why this could be happening. Perimenopause is one of the most poorly understood things I have been through with the medical community. Thank God I finally found a doctor who gets it and is certified in menopause care.

Needed to hear this today. I’m going through it recently. Mid-40’s, multiple fibroids, have iron deficiency anemia already, have an iud that had been helping with my bleeding til now. I’m going to see my gyne but it takes like 5-6 weeks to get in to see her. Hopefully I make it that long 😅

yes I was 9 months heavy periods it ended up being a large fibroid turning my uterus inside out luckily I had a amazing gynecologist they ended up doing a full hysterectomy but saved my ovarys only 4 day post op so still sore and uncomfortable but so happy my gynecologist listen to me. also my iron haemoglobin levels ended up at 77 before the surgery too. 🥰🥰🥰

47 here. Twice a month for 7 days straight and heavy. Labs and hormone panel “normal”, ultrasound and biopsy of fibroids, normal. Doc said fibroids too small to be causing this. Recommended an ablation or hysterectomy, I decided neither. I guess I’ll deal until full menopause
