This song fits Dohwa so much, even though his life wasn't as tragic as some believe, he was born into a poor environment, his mother abandoned the family, he had an abusive father and he had to work his butt off. He lost the girl he loved and now she did took step to seek him out only to ask a favor, he is trying to prove his love to her and she's still caught up on her ex from 10 years ago, the guy who disappeared from her life (even if it was valid, he left). He has mistakes just as Eunhyuk, but he compensates with many things. It's not only the movie dates, he remembered her birthday even when he was rejected, bought her a dress, "bribed" her but also helped her meet her favorite director during a party, ran through the rain to get her medicine when she was sick, picked her up when her heel broke, waited for her in the snow, hugged her and bought her a cake she said she wanted to try and Sooae has willingly and constantly chosen him as her emotional anchor this Season. Of course, Sooae feels guilty that she cannot reciprocate yet and she constantly says sorry but even Dohwa himself said he wanted her to stop, that he didn't want to listen to her apologies and the last chapter (136) when she said sorry for the second time that night, he noticed and hugged her to comfort him. The fact Sooae described it as a "warm feeling, as I've never been hurt before" implies she stopped worrying about everything right there and then, she didn't feel uncomfortable or ungrateful, it was just a comfortable embrace. I can't understand why, for some, that is impossible to lead to a romance.
