honestly it's not even just clubs, cinemas are ridiculous too. I don't know why venues don't have more serious rules about the maximum decibel of music.

I've had tinnitus for 20 years now, and I've came to think that it's not fully preventable for everyone. What I mean is that some people are waaaay more likely to get it than others - my brother has it as well, got it around the same age as me (19yo) and we both didn't DJ or do anything TOO crazy. For me it was a concert without earplugs but for him its was a music event with protection ! That's why I kinda feel like for us it'd have been pretty hard to prevent it.

During my second pregnancy i had ear loss on both ears. Your spot on on the mental part of it .., it takes so much away from your day to day. Hope you eventually get some solution with your ENT✨

I’m sorry this is happening. As someone with super sensitive ears it just feels like the world is getting louder and louder. Music, bars, public settings, movies, why? It’s awful. Went for a burger the other day and couldn’t enjoy it because of how loud the fcking music was
