if my wallet is in my bag, im grabbing it. same thing if its my babies diaper bag. without those things I dont have access to money to get a hotel or food or transportation and my baby wouldn't have diapers so some bags a necessity

My backpack has my wallet, passport, etc in it. Do you think I’m going to take the time to dig through that in an emergency? Nope! I’m going to grab the bag and go. I wouldn’t care about my carry on in the overhead bin, but you better believe I’m not leaving my source of money, ID, medications, and travel documents behind. What if I need to check into a hotel or feed my kids. Fine me!

Ehh I’m grabbing my backpack in an evacuation, i don’t care. It adds no additional time since it’s within arms reach, and it does not impede others. I’ve had horrible experiences with airlines, so i’ll just take the fine. Until they reassess how they handle other people’s assets, i’m not leaving my assets in their hands

My bag is going with me. Why? Meds, important documents, wallet, keys, etc. I won't get my carry on out of the overhead bin, but the bag that stays with me, leaves with me.
