This. It’s like that saying “you can’t find someone who loves you until you love yourself first.” As a woman, I really do try to accept trans women, but the whole Drew thing and the “cis” stuff… it makes needless drama. I hope trans women can accept themselves, so that we can all accept trans women and play nice and get along.

tbh if some people don't want to be referred to as cis that's okay and people should respect that but why is everyone calling it a slur💔 I actually think the term is useful sometimes because it's not ALWAYS necessary but in certain contexts it absolutely is

You’re a true girl’s girl for saying this! I admittedly don’t know any trans woman in real life but I’d assume most of them think like you. That it’s only a small vocal minority, operating online, that keeps pushing for the idea that there is no meaningful difference between cis and trans women.
