God bless the youth of today. We mustn’t blame young people; we must look at the broken, failing system. We’re from Birmingham and have been trying to help young people out of the game for years, but local authorities have deliberately tried to stop us from doing so. Sometimes, it feels like they want to see things get worse so they can lobby the government for more money for their own agendas and pockets. 😑 We’ve got to respect young people, no matter what, because, as bad as it sounds, the cards they’re being dealt in this day and age are difficult. Youth clubs and youth services are being closed down, while parents are also struggling to make ends meet and support their families. This leaves many young people with little local support and, in some cases, feeling like they have no choice but to live in survival mode. 🤦🏾♂️
