I think a lot people look to visual cues/ physical demos! Even with some of the best instructors with great cues a lot of the time a movement doesn’t click for me personally until I see it. Especially in classes that are faster paced - I’d much rather have a physical demonstration than the instructor stare at us while we try to figure out the move. But I think this speaks to the balance and that there’s really no right or wrong way to go about it 💖💖.

Makes me wonder if she had some sort of OCD thing going on maybe?? Either way can totally see how that can be distracting to the students
