a little note for this: a lot of what lena and miu carry—the way they learned to be strong, to need less, and to keep going even when they’re tired came from things i’ve carried in my own life too. i haven’t experienced the kind of love i gave them, so maybe writing this was my way of imagining what it would feel like to have someone make those things a little softer. a love where you can rest, ask for things, and be cared for without feeling like you have to earn it. and to anyone who saw a little bit of themselves in lena or miu, i hope life gets softer for you too. you deserve to rest, to ask, to need, and to simply exist without having to prove that you deserve to be loved. 🫶🥺
