@darnelltemenu: 📍 中正紀念堂, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall This was one of the places I knew I had to go on my trip to Taipei. And pictures really do not do it justice in terms of its scale and the intricacy of the design. It was absolutely humongous and really took me by surprise. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was built in commemoration of Chiang Kai-shek, who was the leader and president of the Republic of China and a major military and political figure. The 89 steps leading to the top of the memorial represent each year of his life. Definitely a must do when you come to Taipei. #Taipei #Taiwan #台北 #台北旅遊 #台灣旅遊
