My big add is light neck massage. Face up, run your fingers from lower neck to the ocips, both sides at the same time. Its my finisher and I get so many people coming back for that alone. Also, scented scalp massage is a big hit

I agree with everything except heat. know your clients and adjust to each one.I HATE heat. in fact, I love when my LMTs hands are cold. no heater, no heating pad, only sheets. in fact, id be fine if the room was 62 degrees

I’m an LMT myself and the last massage I got the AC was set to 63 and no heat and not even a blanket!!!! I was shivering uncontrollably after about 45 minutes and she didn’t even seem to notice!

I love this. and No.1 *IS* work slow, move slow. Never ''tug'' on sheets, adjust them gently instead. Sink in for a second, before starting to glide (I call it - TSG - Touch, Sink, Glide).

I worked at a spa and someone complaint I touched their face without being an esthetician, ever since I don’t do face in my sessions. I’m unsure if client did to get a discount as she asked me from the beginning if I could.

yes to all of these 👏 I also like to put a rolled up dry towel in the towel warmer and put it underneath their neck after I get done working their shoulders and neck. They melt right into the table!

as someone who was an esthetician and then became a massage therapist, I always make sure to do their face if they want it. And I can’t tell you how many compliments I get from clients say that most massage therapist never touched their face and it’s their favorite.!🥰💯
