I was driving the Monte, Lost the belt for the alternator a few races before, only had 8-9ish volts and that’s the reason the car laid over at the end, still had a little gear left car just died. Motor was a 350 bored 30 over, little 501 lift comp cam and some world product heads, was only about a 10:1 motor ran very good for what it was.

: Torque vs top end sbc has that low-mid range power curve while the coyote needs to get up In rpm and it sounded like the mustang wasn’t hooking right from the dig or has a weird gearing ratio going on sounded like short shifting from 1-2 like he didn’t let first gear get up fast enough but all and all good run he running an 383ci stroker?

I swear I just came across a video about an hour ago of a crew cab GMC Sierra 6.2 running a regular cab f150 5.0 coyote and all the Ford guys said the weight didnt matter in that race but now it matters in this race🤷♂️👍
