That’s like when the lead of Skillet came out and said he was evangelical. Skillet is known for secular Christian music. Their music doesn’t outright say anything about God, Jesus, etc. I listened to their music in high school and I still do today. Hallelujah is about sex though so… but there are still songs from Christian bands that I fuck with. I just need the song to not be full on worship music. If I can hear it and relate to it then I’m in. But also I balance it out with my Heathen Hymns playlist when I need to vent my religious trauma.
